With four cabins to choose from, including one designed for accessibility for all mobility requirements, the Piper Street Collection offer a new level of convenient, luxurious local lodgings for Kyneton. Located next to St Paul's Square on Piper Street, in the heart of Kyneton’s fine dining and shopping precinct, the four cabins were thoughtfully designed with guests’ comfort in mind, including baths, wood fires, king beds and hotel-quality linen.
Wolveridge Architects created the design concept; local business Alta Interiors custom-made the furniture, and the hotel-quality bed linen was sourced from Loom Linen of Kyneton. The kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cookware, and crockery was made in Australia by Robert Gordon. The bathrooms include walk-in showers and deep tubs with body products by Aspar, made in Melbourne. Each cabin comes with a private courtyard and fire pit, making it the ideal country escape. Well-behaved pooches are welcome, and Flophouse can provide portacots if required.
Have a drink on arrival at Prato next door, stay for dinner, or explore Kyneton’s other fine dining options on Piper Street, including Midnight Starling, Rühe, Fook Shing and Piper Street Wine Room. The Kyneton Hotel is a community favourite in walking distance and serves high-quality pub food. The Kyneton Farmer’s Market is held on the second Saturday of each month in St Paul’s Square, and the park has space to walk the dog if you are bringing your four-legged friend. From 1851, Kyneton was part of the goldfields explosion, became a service town for the region, and has long been known for its hospitality.
