We are a small team of local women with diverse professional backgrounds and skills. While a background in hospitality is essential, we provide extensive training and support to ensure that we are able to personally grow and provide top quality service to our guests and property owners.

Meet the Team.

  • Genevieve

    Genevieve is the owner and business manager of Flophouse. She has developed strong relationships with local property owners and followed her desire to create beautifully designed and restful holiday accommodation in her favourite part of the world.

  • Marketa

    Marketa is our property manager. She comes to us via London and Byron Bay with a wealth of experience in managing hotels and holiday accommodation. We are grateful to have Marketa on board to offer training to the team and exceptional service to owners.

  • Ally

    Ally is one of our most valued members of the team. She really knows the art of housekeeping and is across the cleaning and presentation needs of all of our houses. When she is not cleaning, she is also a dab hand at maintenance and repairs and has been known to change a flat tyre, fix a lawn mower and unblock a toilet.

  • Jenness

    Jenness is a cherished member of the team for her flexible attitude and her ability to think creatively and problem solve. She is one of our housekeepers but also works as an administrative assistant, website developer and in-house artist! Jenness is behind all the illustrations in our guest guide books.

  • Tabatha

    With a background in fashion, Tabatha has been a joy to work with as we update our website and booking system. Tabatha also fills in as a housekeeper and makes sure everything is in order at the houses she cares for.

  • Elena

    Elena comes to us with many years of experience in managing her own high-end BnB. and a professional background as an interior designer. Elena has recently retrained as an allied health professional and brings a caring attitude to the team and a knowledge and commitment to covid safe cleaning and sanitising practises. Elena works as a housekeeper at East Wing and Shedster.
