Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, Buda Historic Garden, Castlemaine

  • Buda Historic House and Garden 4 Hunter Street Castlemaine, VIC, 3450 Australia (map)

Buda’s yearly Mother’s Dy afternoon tea is a treat for you and your Mum. The historic house and garden was formerly home to the Leviny family and now houses a collection of art by the talented Leviny sisters and other well known artists of their era. Their Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea events are an opportunity to savour the house and garden, enjoy an opulent supply of home made cakes and be entertained by a special guest.

This year’s afternoon tea features ARIA award winner and songbird Kavisha Mazzella. Her original song’s lyrical ingredients include humour, poetry, social justice and the spiritual. Singing in English and Italian, she will take you on an uplifting boundary-riding journey of well-crafted stories and songs ringing with echoes of Celtic, Fado and Gypsy influences that will strike a resounding chord within. With eight solo albums under her belt, she has sung and given vocal workshops at national music festivals and abroad.
