Budburst is a once-a-year opportunity to step behind the vines and meet our warm-as-toast winemakers. Over a glass, and amidst a backdrop of lush vineyard rows, volcanic rocks and ancient plateaus, you’ll get a sense of how our family-owned and small-batch makers shape mainland Australia’s coolest wine region.

Across the weekend, local winemakers open their cellar doors so you can enjoy wine tastings, with extra offerings of curated food menus, art shows, and live music.

Travel independently around Macedon Ranges’ winding country roads and picturesque mountain ranges or board a Budburst bus and visit up to five wineries on four dedicated bus routes. If you are looking for something unique and special, Budburst Festival has also partnered with some of the leading wine tour companies in Victoria to offer bespoke tours.
