"Getting hands dirty and making something that is useful to other human beings is, and always will be, a thing of rare beauty."
Mark Thomson – Author, Rare Trades, Making things by hand in the digital age
Flop House is a proud supporter of the Lost Trades Fair, established in 2014 by Glen and Lisa Rundell of Rundell & Rundell Chairmakers. The Fair has grown rapidly to include over 80 artisans skilled in rare and specialised trades. If you have ever considered making something with your hands - wether it be a piece of furniture, an instrument, tool or thing of beauty then this is your opportunity to connect with contemporary makers and discover some of the "lost" arts of previous generations.
Find your inspiration at the LOST TRADES FAIR
