The Easter Parade is on Easter Monday and is a wide ranging collection of things Maldonian, from fire trucks to the Garden Club, penny farthing bicycles to occasional political statements.
Afterwards there is much merriment in the shopping areas of the village with an egg tossing competition, and all cafes and restaurants are open for business.
Only a short drive from several of our beautiful BnB’s Taradale yet again celebrates with their Mineral Springs Festival.
Something for everyone including handcrafted local wines, produce including olives, oils, preserves, puddings and more. Multi-cultural food stalls and an Aussie BBQ.

A celebration of Australia’s gold rush history where many towns were born in our region.
With several categories organised to cater for all ages and skill levels. Finals between the fastest recorded times will be conducted for Men’s and Women’s skilled, and the Eureka challenge.
Finish the day off with the Gold Panners Dinner at the Greendale Hotel.
